When you buy or sell your home with Royal LePage Estate Realty, part of the commission supports shelters and violence prevention programs for women and children. In fact, of the 600 Royal LePage offices nationally, in 2013, Estate Realty was recognized as Office of the Year for its charitable contributions to the Royal LePage Shelter foundation.
Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company to have its own charitable foundation. All of the administrative costs of the Shelter Foundation are underwritten, so 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to helping our cause.
All Royal LePage real estate agents and our clients are working to create safer homes and safer communities by contributing more than $38 Million since 1999. By donating a portion of our commission on the purchase or sale of your property, we are helping bring hope to those who need it most.
Our leadership team, Realtors®, and staff also volunteer time and hold special community events to help raise funds and awareness to end family violence for more than 50,000 women and children who take refuge in a shelter each year.
In 2022, we raised OVER $75,000 by Estate Realty Realtors® for the Shelter Foundation.
If you’re interested in supporting our cause, you can help us put an end to violence against women and children by:
Making an online donation.
Participating in one of our fundraising events.
Sponsoring a participant in the Make a Statement for Shelter campaign.
Donate or shop at the annual National Garage Sale for Shelter.
Ensuring your next home purchase or sale is handled by a Royal LePage agent who makes commission donations.
We are very grateful for your support. Royal LePage Canada covers the foundation’s administrative costs so 100% of your donation will be directed to the cause.
